Post subject: Trademark Terms in Headings and as Keywords

Hi
I'm pretty new to PPC advertising with Google, I just have a query about what is acceptable and what is not in regard to the Headings and Keywords you are able to use in PPC campaigns.
Just say I was advertising a product for a company called "biz aaa" can I use this companies competitors name's to send traffic my way? For example can I use "biz aaa's" major competitor's name "biz bbb" in my keywords and therefore trigger my ad?
I think I understand that other companies trademark term cannot be used in this manor, but can I use variations of the name such as "biz bbb forklifts" or "www.bizbbb.com" or misspellings of the term like "biz bb"?

It depends on each company. If you're promoting some companies products via their own affiliate program, they generally prohibit you from bidding on PPC terms that use their trademarked name.
As for using other company names, it generally comes down to your usage of it. I've heard of different court cases ruling on both sites of the fence.

That is pretty well exactly the information I was after.
I'm competing in the "mortgage" marketplace and I'm still a little unclear about what I can and can't do with my Google ads, but the information you provided certainly helps.
