I created a blog for 2 sites I started
in Feb. and linked back to my yahoo page.

I got indexed quickly in yahoo, then I added
content to my blog and linked back to my
yahoo page for a month, then stopped adding
content to my blog.

Now Yahoo seems to start to index my site
then stop, only 2 pages are indexed, google
has indexed many pages.

Could the fact of not adding to my blog and
linking back to my yahoo page be affecting
yahoo from indexing my sites. I do have link
partners and 100 pages of content.

Jeremy

There also does not seem to be a way to cancel
my blog. I took away all my blog posts which were
few.

Even my winter site with SBI I was getting de-indexed
by yahoo, maybe because I did not add content
or links for a few months.

Anyone know how to cancel a blog or yahoo page?

My yahoo page I still don't know.

The links on my yahoo page are gone, but
not my blog or yahoo accounts.

We'll see if there is a difference.

Yahoo would index my home page, then another,
then go back to only indexing my home page,
as if it would get stuck, strange.

If not because of my yahoo page and blog,
why would my winter site which is over a year old
start having pages de-indexed in yahoo.

Back to content and legitimate links no tricks.

Hi Jeremy,

Yahoo has been doing some strange things lately. I have a site with almost 500 pages and the number of pages indexed by Yahoo jumps around from 250-450 and various spots in between almost daily.

I have other sites that have been up for 6 months with over 300 pages each, added gradually and consistently, and Yahoo only shows 4 pages on one and 1 page on the other.

I've read of other people who are seeing the same sort of thing, but I haven't seen anybody that really knows why.

Thanks John for the information.

Hopefully yahoo will sort itself out soon.
