Everyone,
I was searching the web for reviews on Engineseeker.com. To my surprise I ran into this forum. The feedback from Chris Magras and others has been very informative.
That being said, my business partner and I decided to give them a try with our new ecommerce site, www.allboxedn.com. We are a new moving box and supply company trying to break into a tough market.
The site launched June 1st and in a word, our traffic volume sucks! We are listed in Yahoo and Google (they only spidered the homepage), and have done very limited runs at Oveture and Google Adwords. We also have purchased some banner ad space on one of the leading apartment guide websites.
Our competitors do massive PPC advertising and have top spots in oranic returns. We need help!!
My business partner called me and told me about engineseeker. After visting their website I was very very skeptical (still am) about their claims, because of the number of scams out there.
Nevertheless, we gave them a call. I was pleasantly surprised that the salesperson was not some fast talking telemarketer. He actually knew something about search engine marketing (I have been developing websites since 1995).
Well after spending 10 or so minutes on the phone I finally asked about cost. The monthly price was $24.95 with a startup fee that was way less then what was quoted on this site. Basically the price was so low that I couldn't say no. If they delivered on half on what was promised then it would have been worth it.
Chris M was correct, time is money! So if we can get our site listed in as many "relevant" places a possible they will have a customer of life.
I am all about results. When a company tells me they are going to do something, they better do it!
Anyway we are awaiting our login information. Once I get it I'll post my review of their interface.
Until then, take care.

Everyone,
We received our login information Friday evening. The subject of the e-mail was Billing Receipt, so we ignored it initially. After not getting anything over the weekend we went through our email and noticed the username and password were in the billing receipt the whole time.
I'll login this afternoon and take it for a spin.

You are better of putting your money into Adwords or Overture and then reinvesting the money that you have earn't from the traffic that you had received from these two networks. _________________ Affiliate Programs Directory - Over 2,000 Programs

I have recently subscribed to engineseeker.com to help promote my new sites. I am trying to gain web presence with new domain names and affiliate marketing.
I know this discussion in the forum is old but when I typed in engineseeker.com to find out more about them, this site came up. GLAD it did since this forum seems to be exactly what I need to help me understand the process.
I have created a blog for TrueRFS to go along with helping promote the other sites. Not sure how the whole blogging thing works so it will be a learning process.
What did the final outcome on engineseeker turn out to be. The last post I see is from 2005 and I am anxious to hear if they helped anyone else or if I am wasting time, which equals money, real money, or effort, dealing with engineseeker.
I have gotten keywords and submitted my sites. Not sure how long it will take to get my web sites listed on major search engines. Being new sites, I know it can take a long time but figured I would use their system to see if it really works.
When I put TrueRFS in the google or yahoo search, it does not come up yet. Same with my WWMoneyEnterprise site. How long does it normally take to get new .com sites listed? Can engineseeker really do what they have claimed?
I know others on here have tried them. What were the results? CDawson? How did it work out for you?
edited to remove url's. sorry! still learning. _________________ True RFS!

I spend more than 200 dollars(ON KEYWORDS) on engineseeker and this is what I got a month later: 0.00 visitors to my website.
I ask for my refund and all I got one guy who answer my email told me that there was no refund.
I don't care how much the engineseek guy explain on forums online, I think 100% what he is saying is crap. |

Well I amno expert as I just signed up this morning.
But the forum now has a bunch of educational entries.
I was able to use the tools (and I am a newb) to fix my crawl from google. I had my meta stuff in a page that was not working. I am using apache and tomcat so there is a index.jsp that re-directs to liferay root page a dynamic page. I ended up putting the metastuff in the index.jsp instead of the meta page jsp inside liferay and changed my sitema to include the index.jsp and it seems to work. My point is the tools they provide helped me fix that issue. Not sure if my ad $ will pay off as well as my google and yahoo $ but ill try it for a low budget. I found their site veryhelpful and easy to use. |

I can't guarantee success for everyone because every website is different, however I can guarantee that it has worked for me and a large portion of my clients who follow the direction needed.

| I dont know about their $499 offer. However I have been using engineseeker since long time and i have about 30 websites. I mainly use it to submit websites into search engines automatically. They submit to about 130 engines i think. It saves time. Some engines send back email for cofirmation that you need to confirm. Engineseeker also has ad exchange program where you display others ads, and others display yours. For example, i have this site: http://www.phonecard-deals.com which at the bottom has engineseeker ads. They have other pay per use services which i have not used. |
