Hey all,

Hopefully someone here can shed light on my biggest problem at the moment.

I recently made some content changes to try and target the ads on the index page for this site:

http://www.nirvana-music.com

Didn't work. Though, if I'm lucky, I can get the skyscraper to display one ad for a "Nirvana Forum".

Now - I know that Adsense's relevancy works very closely with Search Engine optimization, and this was the principal I was employing. I also know that, because the index page is mostly news, that the bot will have trouble determining a "theme" or subject.

But here's where it gets semi-interesting... If you look at a capture of this page (not identical to the current index as it's one update behind, but still more or less the same) , you'll notice that I have very targeted advertisements for recording and music production.

http://www.nirvana-music.com/test.html

So why won't my "real" index drop the PSA's and start displaying ads like these! Shocked

Anything like that would be great - rock music and music industry related ads would fit in quite nicely....

Does it have anything to do with the 'dynamic content' aspect of the index page? This being: Forum User Account Info, Featured Section, Random Quote, Opinion Poll...

When comparing the two pages, I know that it's not censoring itself because of banned words or questionable content. I also realize that the keyword "Nirvana" might not have enough ads related to it, but I've seen other ads for Nirvana tabs, Nirvana sheet music on other parts of my site.

How can I change my site to better serve Adsense and its mysterious ways? Any suggestions would be appreciated...

Your true homepage is showing Nirvana sheet music when I just checked. Once you update that page, you have to allow some time for Adsense to read it again. Some days it will take 15 to 30 minutes, other times it may take a day or two. You will just need to be patient if the content changes a lot.
