Hey Jeremy,
Thanks very much for the recommendation!
Remember what Harv said though, you can't let a little thing like distance keep you from going after your financial destiny.
(Just teasing...I hope you decide to go to see him, whereever it may be.)

Hi Mike,
I must admit I am a little skeptical, but I got
myself to sign-up for this weekends
seminar in New Jersey.

Hi All,
On the suggestions of your posts this week I went out and bought Eker's book. While I did not find any new information in this book I can highly recommend it, it is a good book and the concepts are well worth exploring if you are in business and want to expand to your fullest success and abundance potential.
At Andrea's suggestion I am waiting with anticipation to read Canfields book. I have it on order, our one and only local bookstore was out!
I encourage everyone to explore these types of books as you not only expand in business success but you expand in every area of you life. The material does not just apply to business it really applies to the inner core of who you really are and your basic belief system that runs and governs every aspect of your life, be it business, personal, relationships, emotions, mental thought patterns, spiritual beliefs, etc.
I would like to suggest one of the most powerful books I have read on the power of intention and its source. It is called The Power of Intention--learning to co-create your world your way-- by Dr. Wayne Dyer.
I've also enjoyed the classics:
Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill
Attaining your Desires by Thomas T. Troward (1929)
The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles (1910)
Last year on Martell's suggestion I read
The E-Myth---why most small businesses don't work and what to do about it, by Michael E. Gerber.
Another great read and highly recommend it. Helps you see and recognize and understand the different aspects of yourself, the manager, the entrepreneur, the technician. And also talks about why most small businesses fail and how you can do it differently.
Also mentioned here David Bach, its next on my reading list. I saw him on tv and he was very interesting, more on the money management side.
These types of books are so important as they help us see what we could not see, our inner programming and the blocks that keep us from achieving what we really want and then how to change it and they help us to reach even higher for the stars. I know I am eternally grateful for these people taking the time to write these books that help me be a better person and teach me how I can truly manifest all of my dreams.
Happy reading and achieving!

On the topic of this thread............
As per Martells suggestion I finally built a startpage earlier this year.
I am really amazed how powerful this page has become and it has burned a permanent image in my mind of my goals and my business.
I see it everyday and it has made my goals more real and ALIVE! It's like they've taken on a life of their own!
I have 6 pictures on my page depicting my goals.
I can't express enough how powerful and life changing this kind of goal-tool can be. It organizes whats in your mind and puts it outwards into a visual your eyes can see everyday and I am amazed at the powerful effect this has had on me.
I highly recommend this powerful goal-tool. Just the process of building the page makes you really think about what you really do want and to then clearly define it.
What are you waiting for! Go build it now!
And Andrea's template makes it easy for you to build your own startpage and she is offering it at great price too!
Yesterday I printed up a big sign that hangs on the wall in front of my desk. It says "Millionaire Mind". Thanks to Eker for this. Visuals are powerful self programming tools.
Dream BIG!

Hello Maren,
Yes, I found the E-myth an even more interesting read when I imagined that instead of the example of Sarah's Bakery business the author was talking about my affiliate marketing business
"Free' consulting indeed... and it kinda puts JM's continous pour automation plans into focus too.
Props for Goals can be wonderful 'mental gyroscopes'...visual or audio (affirmations). Enjoy!
And speaking of Dream Big, how about carrying a note (or picture) of the "Big One" around in your purse or wallet?
I had great results this way with a career goal, using "The Magic of Thinking Big" (a la David Schwartz), after some pain and initial failure aka "learning experiences".
How far could a person really take passive income streams using such thinking?
Some already are...! |

Hi Jeremy,
I wanted to remember this thread to ask you how the seminar was over the weekend?

Hi Mike, everyone,
I can tell you about the first day.
Couldn't make it the other two,
because I decided only a few days
before the event to go, had to keep
my previous obligations.
But I am going to the one in NJ in Dec
to complete the entire event.
There were alot of people there, they kept
it high energy. You get a questionaire that helps
you to know what your relationship is to money.
There are exercises with a partner, where you
share your bad money experience, some people
stand and explain it to the crowd. Some very
interesting experiences, which they then tell
how it has affected them financially.
David Woods did a great job!
He spoke about the topics in the book, and
went into more detail.
All together everyone reads financial declarations
aloud, very loudly, high energy.
Then there are some silent times where you release
the unsupportive beliefs, feel th energy leave you,
they use some NLP techniques.
After you do any exercise you look at your neighbors
in the eye and hi 5 and say YOU have a millionaire mind.
Think and Grow Rich and others books I've read
all talk about repetition, saying over and over
your desires specifically.
The Millionaire Mind Intensive is very serious
about trying to effect you on a cellular level,
they try to reprogram your subconscious for success.
Bring your $100 bill, they do a neat exercise using it.
There were alot of network marketers, no internet
marketers that I saw. Mostly self-employed people,
of different income levels.
Overall I'd say it is good.
I was skeptical at first and still am a little,
as to can this event really effect me subconsciously.
But reflecting on it, plus combined with my
knowledge of how the mind works, from Think
and Grow Rich and other books. This event is
an intense form of it.
So even if it effects me just a little I think it
is worth it.

I'm really encouraged by all of these recommendations.
I also just got home from Affiliate Summit in Las Vegas.
Was great to meet up with some of you - finally meeting some AP participants face-to-face
So many great minds to brainstorm with - awesome !
Keep the book & mentoring recommendations rolling in - I'm updating the template to capture all of them. _________________ Andrea Thomson

Success books talk about positive affirmations and
declarations should be repeated daily. Most people
myself too, don't take the time to do this in the morning
and before bed.
We all know the powerful effect music has on us,
it sparks our emotions and gives us energy when
we dance, which is what we need when saying
the positive declarations.
I found a combination of both, its called
The Millionaire Mind Empowerment Song Series
For Expanding your Wealth.
I thought I would give it a try, you never
hear any wealth building songs on the radio.
The songs and music are good, they put a lot
of effort into it. Some of the music is rock, one
has a Jamaican sound, some are a little softer
than rock. There are memorable phrases in each
song. The titles are...
I've got a millionaire mind
Jammin Jars
Be right or be rich
Money Magnet
New beginnings
Find yourself
Breakin through
