Looking for your thoughts on title meta tags used with article pages...
I have noticed that James uses the full title of the article , but I have read that the title tag should only be keywords. So, if your keyword was "Blue Widgets" and the title of your article was:
Blue Widgets are Easy to Use
would you go with:
<title>Blue Widgets are Easy to Use</title>
or
<title>Blue Widgets</title>
?
Thanks in advance.

I would go with the longer one for a couple of reasons.
One, the full title would make a searcher more likely to click on your site in the results. And also, from what I've noticed, Google is not liking sites with 100% keyword density in the title tag.
For example, go search for anything in Google today, something that might be moderating competitive. You'll notice most of the time that the Titles of the returned results aren't your search phrase exactly.
Some SEOs might tell you that this is because people aren't targeting that word. I would have agreed with this a year ago, but not today. _________________ Robert
