Hello All,

Does anyone know of a way that I could put a message under my affiliate graphic links that would show up if the Norton Ad blocker cut out the code for my links. I have the link in a table right now. I have a disclaimer on the page about the problem but it is eating up valuable real estate and not needed once people shut off the ad blocking.

Thanks

Andy

Andy,

Graphic links and banners don't work, or at least don't work that well.

You need to put in some great content "preselling" the item you're an affiliate of then put in a text link.

Doing that you won't need the disclaimer.

I appreciate the suggetsion, but my site is setup for ease of use and not preselling or converting traffic to sales. I am basically trying to make it simple for my relatives to shop through. I have found that they tend not to read the disclaimer and just notice the empty squares where the link should be. I would like to put the disclaimer behind the link.

Thanks in advance for the help

Andy,

Sorry, I don't have the technological know how to help you, but I am sure you can find someone who can help, if not at this forum, others may help.

I was looking at your triathlon site. GREAT IDEA! May I make a suggestion, put in more Google Adsense banners, the 250 x 300 or other rectangeles, maybe even the 728 banner at the top of the pages. And put them on every page of the site.
