Eleven years later, he's still going strong, now in a business partnership with two former co-workers.

His main website gets 10,000 to 15,000 visitors a day.

In a new interview, he discusses why he's successful, and also talks about scammers, scrapers, high tech criminals, taking care where and how you advertise, and why his AdSense ads are so unobtrusive.

Jeff Ostroff's style of affiliate marketing is to earn serious commissions by creating time-consuming sites that contain hundreds of pages of useful free advice.

In total contrast, Australians Marc Lindsay and Daniel Turner have mastered a different way of doing successful affiliate marketing.

They build basic, very quick, 5-page websites that continue to earn revenue month after month with little maintenance.
