Our Niche Profit Classroom Test Results Revealed

Last year, we started a little experiment. We decided to implement the Niche Profit Classroom training course to see what we could achieve.

Niche Profit Classroom was developed by two proven Internet marketing experts with real experience. Adam Short and Alen Sultanic have had huge success with their methods and they openly teach the same methods, in their course. Nothing’s hidden from you.

After reviewing their course and software for the Associate Programs newsletter, we hired a couple of "newbie" outsourcers to trial the NPC program for us. We gave them access to the training and the software to see whether they could successfully build a site.  Also, we wanted to see if the sites achieved any success in the search engines.

Since that time, we have continued to maintain the sites, do some basic link building and track their progress.  So far, the results have been positive. Some sites have done better in the search engines than others but all of them are attracting some visitors.

As you can see from the screenshot below, the sites follow the standard NPC layout and formula.

Niche Profit Classroom Review

Let’s have a look at some of the results from 3 sites. Remember, all these sites were built by complete "newbies".

A Gardening Site

NPC site

This site is continuing to increase its traffic. As you can see, there has been a gradual rise in the weekly traffic and it has some good rankings for a range of related keywords.

Sadly, there haven’t been any sales from this site but we did have 49 hops. This number is large enough that I think that we will review which ClickBank product we’re promoting and find one with a higher conversion rate.

A Transport Site

The transport site had an initial bump and then settled into a steady traffic stream. Over the next months, we will be stepping up our link building to this site and the others so it will be interesting to see what difference that makes.

We’re going to be using lists similar to the Angela’s Links lists. The goal with this link building  program is to stay away from mass links and to spend about 1 hour a week on each website.

So far, the site has achieved 2 sales from 56 hops to our promoted ClickBank product. I think this could have been higher but I’ve just noticed that the product site is no longer live. We will need to find a new one.

A Craft Site

NPC Review

Our craft site hasn’t achieved any outstanding gains. It does have regular visitors but the traffic peaks at about 25 visits a week.  Interestingly enough, this has been enough traffic to get 2 sales from 54 hops to our promoted ClickBank product.

My Verdict

I’m pleased with these results. When you take into consideration that the people who built the sites had no website building experience, it proves that the Niche Profit Classroom training works.

Even if you don’t know where to start, you can take one of their ready made packages, build a website and get traffic.

As is often the way with affiliate marketing, you build 3 sites and keep 1. For now, we will keep promoting all 3 and also I’m going to get some new content to add. New original content getting added on a regular basis should help to increase our keyword reach and increase the traffic.

Watch this space for an update in another 3 months.

Brad, thanks for sharing your results. So, what type of promotion did you make after creating the sites? It looks like the traffic did not reach to a high level in 6 months for any of the sites. And you said that you would continue promoting the sites, what will you do for example?

I am trying to compare the amount of time and effort you put into this and the results you got.

Thanks,
Nail

Thank you for this review. I'd like to add my '2 cents'. I tried NPC for 4 months and even though I have been with SBI (site builder) and many other programs over the years, this one left them in the dust. Just chock full of useful information.

There were 2 downsides. One, is the technical help. I'm not a techie and had a very difficult time setting everything up according to their recommendations. Thank goodness they have a very active forum where I found a webmaster already familiar with the NPC setup. From there it was a breeze.

The other downside is that there's really no one who can help to fine tune my niche. I realize that's not what they're set up for, its more generic really. But when dealing with a specific niche, I found I needed specific help. Again, the forums were good to a point.

I didn't make any money in the 4 months I was with NPC, but I did gain some valuable insight. I would recommend it for newbies to learn the language of starting a website business. Excellent tutorials!

But to make money, I find there comes a time to buckle down with a personal business coach who can walk me through all the challenges that come up. As a result, I was making money within 30 days and now after 5 months my phone is ringing off the hook with sales.

Just my thoughts!

Very interesting post Brad.

Was wondering though - did you supply the keywords/niches for these newbies, or did they go through the discovery process themselves?

Btw, hope Yasi has settled down now!

In this case, they used some of the packages supplied with NPC :-)

Thanks for doing the real review on NPC. I have been trying their memberships for 14 days and tried to go through everything they offer within the trial period. Then I started to setup my website, and implement the 21 days traffic strategy.

Well, right now I have 4 NPC sites running, one is already ranking in page 2 of google, however the daily traffic is not that fantastic yet. I am working on using other method to build back links though.

Although the traffic is not fantastic, but I would say the conversion is quite good as I have made 3 sales so far with all the sites I have. It has been like 2 months until now.

Anyway, after looked into the analytics graph of your site, which is similar with mine, I felt more relief as I am getting the average result which is acceptable. Right now, I guess I just need to work on putting more fresh content on it and build more backlinks to my site. Thanks brad. :)

Thanks for the case studies stats. I always like the "Unique Searches" the most in Google Analytics. Visits can mean a lot of things and you could be visiting the site yourself a few times a day. The most accurate measure is from Search engine referers, that's what i think. Or you could show the unique visits only to show a more reliable outcome to those traffic stats.

Just my opinion.

Hi Robert,

I normally only watch unique visits and we dont visit the site more than once a week :-) I think the stats illustrate the points I was making without digging too far into results.

Thanks

Hi Nail,

To be honest, not a lot of effort went into the promotion until we started regular link building about 3 mths back. We're only talking a small list of profile/forum links each week. It was a straight up test by newbies so we didn't interfere.

Thanks :-)

A note to Judy... you referred to a personal coach that made a difference. I tried one and she didn't help much except to tell me to build inbound links. In between questions, I didn't hear anything from her.

Hi Judy,

I was also an NPC user (i stopped paying this month cos I feel I already have all I need from them, GREAT CONTENT IN THERE THO), my question to you is... how did you find your personal business coach and if you dont mind (i'll understand if you do), what ballpark sum + how regularly should I expect to pay a biz coach like yours?
