Niche Blueprint Review

I'm going to save you time and start with a qualifier. Before you read the rest of this article, you must be able to lay claim to at least one of these!
No email list
No products of your own
No joint venture partners
No pay per click experience
No internet experience
No SEO knowledge
No copywriting skills
No web design expertise
No money for advertising
If any of these apply to you, then this article's for you - read it thoroughly.
Looking at the above list, have you ever felt behind the 8-ball trying to figure out how to make money online?
Allan's article "Meet your new competitors - they're kids" gave us a preview of what's to come - as if it wasn't daunting enough that you've got to know how to:
Research products to market
Set up a website and shopping cart system
Establish a supplier network to deliver your products
Find, convert and keep customers!
Perhaps your tank's a little low on technical knowledge or you're a newbie to online marketing. Maybe as you're reading this, you're currently learning how to do the whole shebang.
Until you make enough money to contract outside help, sometimes you need to be across everything - marketing, technical, copywriting, search engine optimization etc.
Where do you start? How much easier would you have it if someone told you exactly how to do it?
Recently a couple of guys have proved it's less about the "what" and more about the "how". Check this out. Tim Godfrey and Steven Clayton made:
- $173,000 from a site selling Bird Cages
- $14,134 per month from a site on Train Horns
- And $7123 each month from another selling Sewing Machines
Talk about some bizarre niches!
How many people would have picked these? This was kind of the point and these guys have developed a blueprint for pinpointing niches and cashing in on them with their unconventional formula (like they are to the tune of $1 million a year).
Featured on Fox News and The New York Times, their course Niche Blueprint tells you exactly what to do and how to do it. It's that simple.
They reveal how to cash in on low competition markets, set up web sites at the push of a button and get free traffic. In fact, in one of their videos you'll see a live site in action so you can learn exactly how they make $15,000/month from it.

Since this looks like such a great deal, are you planning to be one of the 700 who buy it?
[We were fortunate to be given access to the course so that Reena could review it. Allan.]
Are you saying that you have access to the whole course? Most of the modules are not yet available to regular customers.
[As I explained in my newsletter, we haven't seen all of it - just enough to be impressed. Allan.
OK, but it just SEEMS like it is too good to be true. What are the hidden costs? What other things are there to buy? Hosting? Marketing? Etc.
Thanks,
JT
[The course itself is an outright purchase and they offer a free hosting account as well. It focuses on how to drive free traffic, however if you wanted to do PPC marketing for your site, then that would be an additional cost of course. Reena]
This at 1st glance looks like another way to get my $$. I am curious how they drive this much business and not use PPC or being on the 1-10 spot on Google? Also, I thought high value content pages were the "best" if not only way to drive qualified traffic to merchants.
I'm not saying it can't be done, just not sure I want to be taken again.
[NicheBlueprint has a step-by-step SEO plan so they do include high value content pages to gain top organic rankings. As well as the free traffic plan, they also include a component on PPC marketing if you'd like to expand into this. The course is focused on free traffic though which is a great way to start out. You can view more details on the SEO plan in the 4th Video. Reena]
I've just purchased this product. Looks pretty good so far!
In a previous post, Reena stated that free hosting was included. That is NOT the case. It is also stated above that you can "expect to have your site live at the 30 day mark". I'd be curious how that could work since the last 3 modules aren't even scheduled for release until Feb 10.
More important is that this is being sold as a "complete package", and the Review above states that NB "gives you all the tools you'll need". This is also not quite true. What they "give" you is a 30 day free trial to a $147 software package for doing keyword research. Once the trial is up, you're on your own.
[In the course outline they provided me with, it stated 'free hosting account' so I hope that hasn't changed since! They do supply store templates and software to get your store running, plus a free lifetime subscription to DropshipBlueprint.com which sources suppliers for you. The last 3 modules guide you in what to do after the site is live so the scheduled release won't hinder you getting your site live in 30 days. They cover running your store, selling your website and outsourcing, so you can continue to grow it. Reena]
[Hi Robert, Good question! It's Allan, not Alan. If you knew me better, you'd know that I'm determined to promote only products which are genuinely useful for our readers. I don't mind admitting that in this particular case I'm relying a lot on Reena's and Jay's judgement. They are extremely talented, genuinely caring people who understand that we're all in this for the the long-term. I'm really fortunate to have them as part of our team. Jay is much more than an employee. He's a business partner who is taking over more and more of the business and now owns a large chunk of it. After years of marketing online, he knows that he has to earn people's trust if he wants to make the business a winner. Anyway, how on earth could you make a decision from the outside, without seeing the product? If we start receiving bad comments, we'll know we made a bad decision. So far, there're no sign of that happening. All early comments by buyers have been favorable. Allan.]
You'll notice that I refrained from commenting qualitively on the product itself. You're right, I haven't seen it, so I couldn't add to that debate. I said what I saw with regard to what appears to be a set of defensive responses to negative comments from others about it. I am sorry to see your site, until now a shining light of sound advice about AF, being watered down to yet another 'promo platform' for the big guns of IM. And I agree about Jay, I read his posts with interest. I hope I'm wrong or that this is just a bump in the road, rather than a trend. As Lehman Brothers proved. No one is to big to be wiped out in a heartbeat if the pruduct is not up to scratch and the market turns it's back on you.
Robert
[Perception is a funny thing. You see "defensive responses to negative comments". I see questions, answers and explanations. You fear a "promo platform". I see a product review. We take all criticism seriously. The fact that a number of questions were asked probably
indicates that the review should have anticipated those questions and answered them. We'll learn from that. However, it's a tricky thing knowing how long to make a review. Some readers want all the facts you can provide. Others just want a quick summary. Allan.]
I am sure this is a great product! Every product is a great product. But there is a limit to the amount of products one can buy. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!!!
Did you see the Michael Jones "product" he is only selling 200 of them and they are still available Traffic Tycoons. Guess he thought they would go in minutes, but that was days ago.
Let's not forget about Yanik's Underground, BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE.....
I guess that's why your called "Associated Programs".
[If the newsletters you've signed up for don't give you information you can use, unsubscribing is an excellent idea. Allan, AssociatePrograms.com.]

I have been studying internet marketing for a few months now... learning what all the terms meant, trying out different products... Ewen Chia's (Business in a Box) which seems to always leave out bits so I would buy more, Commission Blueprint 2.0 which I listened to and did return because even the Beginner's sections did seem over my head, Rosalind Gardner's book, Jeff Dedricks video series on building a list, and now Liz Tomey's ebook videos, which is way over my head and she talks too fast to follow along easily, and oh yes, now Jay's articles. I need something that takes me by the hand and leads me through all this... and not for the $5,000.00 that Mike Filsaime offered me last night. What do you recommend?
[The way I see it, if you want to build an affiliate business, you need to serve your apprenticeship by mastering the basics. Click on the "Beginners" link at the top left of this page and read my Affiliate Program Tutorial. Allan.]
