Methods for $1,000,000 online

Associate Programs Newsletter #453

I'm just sitting in the airport waiting for our flight so I'll keep this short.

(Thanks iPhone Tethering!)

We ran a survey early this year and you guys told us that the #1 thing that you wanted to learn about was traffic.

Since then, I've had my eyes peeled for some unique traffic strategies and have something interesting for you today.

George Brown sent me through access to his new course on traffic and I quickly went through it to see what it was like.

There was lots of really good stuff in there that is clearly derived from real world experience.

I skipped straight to the "Advanced Ninja" techniques and I came across this amazing tactic to generate a huge amount of traffic from YouTube.

Now, he doesn't make any videos at all. He just "buys" them.

So he finds videos that are on the topic of the site he is promoting. So that could be your own product, or an affiliate product.

He then negotiates with the owner of the video via the YouTube private message system to place an ad in the description of the video. From then on, the traffic rolls on in.

His return on investment is huge. He's paying for the ad within the first 1-4 days. After that, it's all gravy.

Rinse and repeat.

In the training he goes into detail on what videos to focus on, how popular it should be and how to negotiate the deal etc.

As soon as I get back from my vacation, I'm going to be doing quite a few of the strategies he teaches for our sites.

George has generated over $1,000,000 online using these exact methods so he is a good guy to learn from.

Good luck. I'm off to enjoy my break!

This sounds like a pretty creative under-the-radar technique. Coolness.

I was wondering if this sort of thing was against YouTube's ToS and had a look through their Terms. Hmmmm... Looks like it may be a violation, but not sure. Anyone else know? If it's uncool with them, then that would seriously impinge the longevity of this strategy.

On the other hand, gargantuan amounts of people upload copyrighted content to YouTube daily - and that's against their ToS as well. Hmmm.

Another thing... With the new YouTube page layout (and perhaps this was the case with the classic layout), you can see that YouTube monitors and/or tracks outgoing clicks from links in the video info/description area. Again, not sure if that hints at the fallibility of this technique.

Would be curious to hear others' thoughts on this.
