3) My Week - Offline Comes Online

This week I discovered that New Zealand can have better weather than the Gold Coast. While we are getting washed away, the weather in Wellington was wonderful and sunny. I also discovered with NZ 3 hours ahead of us, I got up almost before I went to bed to catch a flight home!

Offline businesses are really starting to work at their online marketing. As online marketers we take for granted that everyone knows how we do it. But, the business world is only just starting to press forward with consistent effort to draw clients from the search engines and they’re eager to learn what we know. I had a great time sharing some of these skills at a conference, making new friends and doing my best to help them use the Internet effectively for lead generation.

Online, I’ve been testing some new WordPress templates which are ranking well and also doing it quickly. I’ve been targeting local niches rather than the huge international ones. It’s amazing what affiliate products you can promote to a local audience. It’s worth looking at what opportunities are available for you to promote products to your community which pay an affiliate income.
