Find sponsors for your tweets
When I first tell people that they could benefit from having sponsors for tweets they make, they often give me that look - you know that skeptical questioning, "What-scam-are-you-trying-to-sell-me-now?" look. Some people just can't seem to get their heads beyond the four corners.
I don't understand why any sane human being would ever pass up any beneficial opportunity - but then again, maybe that's what sets affiliate marketers apart. We recognize the need to think in innovative ways.
Diversifying income is a keen survival mechanism. Getting sponsors for your tweets is not a get-rich-quick scheme, it is simply about diversifying income. Big companies understand the influence the average population has on Twitter. Movies have bombed at the box office as a result of unfavorable tweets. So companies are getting hip, and I getting proactive. When they purchase tweets from average everyday users, they are securing a positive outcome for the future.
What that means for you and me - we get to profit from their survival-response to the Twitter revolution. There is no reason why everyone who has a Twitter account shouldn't be getting paid for every favorable tweet they generate.
What's crazy to me is that people are already inadvertently helping companies when they tweet, why not get paid for it? I'm NOT saying every tweet that comes out should be an advertisement, that would be beyond annoying, but what I am saying, is that everyone should be taking advantage of this new way of reaching consumers. It's like the new Gold Rush... you'd better grab what you can get before the opportunities are all gone.
