Pre-launch Review of PPC Classroom 2.0 with 3 Special Bonuses
Update: New quick mover bonus for the first 100 people buying through our affiliate link. Scroll to the bottom of the page for details.
Reviewing PPC Classroom 2.0 reminded me there is a lot to be said about learning through experience.
The author of PPC Classroom, Amit Mehta, is a self-made super affiliate who has learnt how to be a successful PPC affiliate marketer by learning from his mistakes and thinking outside the box.
Unlike many "How to do PPC affiliate marketing" guides, in PPC Classroom 2.0, he shares his wealth of expertise without holding back.
PPC Classroom delivers exactly what it promises in a comprehensive, step-by-step format. In less than a day, I've watched Amit demonstrate how to avoid the same pitfalls that he had starting out and fast forward the initial PPC marketing learning curve.
If you've ever done any PPC affiliate marketing, I'm sure you've encounted problems like these:
- Been confused and frustrated by the massive amount of products you can market online?
- Hesitant to throw money you can't afford to lose on a risky opportunity?
- Discouraged by not knowing how you should get started?
In PPC Classroom 2.0, Amit shows you how to avoid and find solutions for marketing stumbling blocks like these and many more.
Amit describes how "back in March 2005, when I was a newbie affiliate wet behind the ears, I can vividly remember the pain and frustration of launching campaign after campaign, day after day, month after month, with absolutely nothing to show for it."
"On June 15, 2006 I walked away from a $90,000 a year job and never looked back!"
The Amit Mehta Story
Three years ago, Amit Mehta was $20,000 in debt and working in a job he hated. Fast forward three years to 2007, his earnings had skyrocketed to $2.4 million dollars, he was working only four hours a day, and travelling the world for four months. He accomplished his new lifestyle solely through PPC and affiliate marketing.
Amit started the same way many marketers do. Working in a $1600/month job, he started his first PPC campaign with a daily budget of $5.00. His initial web site efforts brought in 2 unique visitors a week and a grand total of $0 affiliate sales.
When he started PPC, it took him months of constant trial and error and 15 campaigns before he found a winner.
Now, on an average day, he makes $7,000. Not a bad pay rise of 13,500%!
So how did Amit do it?
Guess how many products he markets to build $2.4 million? 30? 50?
Here's what blew me away: 95% of his $2.4 million earnings came from just 3 niches.
Amit has given us early access to PPC Classroom 2.0 so we can review first-hand how he built his super affiliate empire. He's succeeded in creating an easy-to-duplicate system that can be implemented with very little money and no experience.
What you learn in PPC Classroom 2.0
PPC Classroom is an online course consisting of ten modules, which you can work through at your own pace.
Because PPC Classroom is a specialized course for affiliate marketers, you're not wading through irrelevant content that's of no value to you. This is the PPC Classroom course outline:
Forward: Hitting the Tipping Point to Super Affiliate Success
Module 1 - Market Research
Module 2 - Keyword Research and Building a Killer Profit Pulling Keyword List
Module 3 - Direct Linking, Landing Pages, and Your Own Affiliate Site
Module 4 - How to Set Up Your AdWords Campaign Properly
Module 5 - How to Design a High-Converting Landing Page
Module 6 - Understanding the Google Quality Score
Module 7 - Launching Your Campaign... Do You Have a Dud, or a Winner?
Module 8 - The Importance of Split Testing and How to Do it Correctly
Module 9 - Bid Optimization Strategies
Module 10 - Advanced Keyword Research Strategies
Here is just some of the great info I gleaned from the PPC Classroom course:
Niche Finding Secrets
Amit shares his niche-finding secrets with a step-by-step process for discovering profitable ClickBank products. This is great news for those of us who are overwhelmed by the sheer amount of products there are to market.
Unlike other training that just focuses on ClickBank, Amit also demonstrates the best short-listing process for Commission Junction products and finding products through offline methods.
His fully-detailed principles also give you an advantage because they can be applied across any affiliate network to plumb the best products.
PPC Classroom 2.0 example used in finding a Commission Junction product.
Keyword Research Secrets
Many affiliate marketers realize how critical keyword research is, but may not know all the tricks for finding the "right" keywords and for figuring out which ones are "right".
PPC Classroom has one of the most comprehensive guides to keyword research that I've seen in any resource. Amit reveals all the secrets to deep-digging for keywords and for going wide and finding search terms you may never have considered (but your customers do).
Amit provides unique keyword angles; teaching you how to think outside of the box, how to use smart long-tail keywords and how to exploit the keywords. Amit's strategies for attacking keyword research are a gold mine giving marketers the benefit of his experience and a jump on their own knowledge.
The numerous keyword research strategies taught in PPC Classroom.
Bid Optimization Secrets
Bid Optimization is my favorite component of the course because of Amit's unique methodology and because he is specific with the hows and whys.
One of the differences is a suggestion not to start your minimum bids high. The common consensus for years has been to start your bids high, get your click-through rate and Quality Score in a comfortable position and then lower your bids.
He has actually devised formulas to determine optimal bids for specific products, depending on what your goals are.
Amit also introduces a concept he calls "bid shifting" and demonstrates different bid optimization strategies to use at various stages of your campaign.
You can see from the screenshot below that he shows you precisely how much to decrease or increase your bids for high profit, ROI or various costs per conversion.
This is one strategy PPC Classroom provides on bid optimization, demonstrated with a clear example.
Killer Copywriting Secrets
Some of copywriting's best secrets are disclosed in PPC Classroom. There's a wealth of tips on how to write high-converting landing page copy and PPC ads with high CTRs.
Some copywriting courses cost thousands of dollars, however, Amit teaches what you need to know to succeed in affiliate marketing in PPC Classroom 2.0.
Landing Page Secrets
Amit has also taken the guesswork out of what type of landing page works best for an offer.
While many training programs give you vague guidelines that are hard to translate for your niche, in PPC Classroom you're given comprehensive specifics about fonts, numbers of columns, widths of columns, image specifications, resolutions, colors for headlines and buttons and linking strategies.
The intricacies of split testing are explained in logical steps, along with how to correctly analyze your split-test results and how to use these results to optimize your landing pages.
Split testing is covered in three separate steps, including how to analyze results and optimize landing pages.
The Four Key Quality Score Concepts
Everything taught in PPC Classroom thankfully meets AdWords guidelines. This means that you can start your affiliate marketing modelled on search engine best practices, which is one less thing to worry about.
In particular, Amit simply explains Quality Score and shows you how it can be used to give your PPC campaigns a competitive edge.
PPC Classroom uses several examples to demonstrate relevancy relationships in your PPC campaigns.
Post-launch Activities
I've seen many expensive programs that take you through launching your campaigns only to leave you high and dry thinking "I've launched my campaign - now what?"
However, PPC Classroom 2.0 avoids that pitfall and gives special attention to post-launch activities. As with the rest of the course, the post-launch section is practical, using common scenarios and clear solutions for each scenario.
What are the benefits of PPC Classroom?
- Learn new tricks - Affiliate marketers learning the ropes would benefit the most from PPC Classroom, although I'm sure some seasoned marketers could also learn a few new tricks.
- Save time and money - Amit has certainly delivered an "easy-to-duplicate system" that should save new affiliate marketers months of trial and error with campaigns (and probably thousands of dollars as well).
- Low price for big results - On the subject of money, PPC Classroom's low price also caters to PPC beginners so it's not going to break the budget. The classes will take you all the way from $5 campaigns to the levels Amit is hitting.
- Relevant content - Because PPC Classroom is a specialized course for affiliate marketers, you're not wading through irrelevant content that's of no value.
PPC Classroom Summed Up
What I appreciated about PPC Classroom is that it's easy to understand, straight to the point and Amit hasn't watered it down.
If you're frustrated with setting up pay per click campaigns with poor ROI, then you can fast-track through the PPC guesswork and borrow knowledge from an expert.
In PPC Classroom 2.0, Amit discloses some affiliate marketing secrets you won't believe he's sharing and you'll wish it was just with you!
Here are some of the Pros and Cons of PPC Classroom 2.0:
Pros
- Purely focused on affiliate marketing, everything has value
- Learn fast and at your own pace, move easily between modules
- Amit gives away some amazing PPC secrets
- Great learning resources and tools, eg. ROI calculator
- PPC Classroom community and great support
- More bonus materials
The bonuses included in PPC Classroom 2.0.
Cons
- There's no quick way to become a top affiliate marketer. You've still got to put in the hard yards (but you'll be able to do it quicker and cheaper because PPC Classroom 2.0 will teach you how to do it properly)
- The course doesn't go into much detail for campaigns and sites built on datafeeds
- I would have liked to have seen more on different methods of testing
- You'll want to know even more!
Most courses with this level of detail and insider secrets usually sit at about $1,500. By comparison, PPC Classroom is sorely underpriced. Weigh up how much it would cost you to learn from your own experience with trial and error PPC campaigns and this is a no-brainer.
Overall, PPC Classroom is a fast and simple out of the box training program, that teaches you to be an affiliate marketer who thinks OUTSIDE of the box.
You should take a few minutes and watch the video interview with Anik Singal and Amit Mehta on the PPC Classroom web site. I found it inspirational and informative and I'm sure you will too. You can also sign up free for their upcoming videos.

Reena, thanks for the comprehensive revue. You couldn't possibly drop a clue about the cost of the course? You know, "under $...." or something similar.
Also, are there other large costs involved, like signing up for or purchasing keyword research tools? Just trying to figure out if, after signing up for the course and buying other essential software, I'll have anything left to pay for clicks. Also sounds like SpeedPPC Pro would be a good fit because of its ability to use datafeeds but that's another hefty outlay, even with the $100 bonus discount. Well, I'll watch the videos anyway as I'm sure there'll be some useful info provided. Thanks again, Scotch [Hey Scotch. It's going to be under $100. :)] |

FYI: Links to ppc training in newsletter # 387 are not working.
I was able to watch the video but the signup link from the video failed. Now the links from the newletter are also not working. Bill [Thanks for that Bill. They were having some issues with their tracking. It's fixed now. Jay] |

As a Speed PPC owner these techniques should be taught to us for no charge. Also as SpeedPPC license holders do we have access to the Clickbank Miner tool, if not we should as the SpeedPPC software was not cheap.

This course looks good but I'm wondering if the initial fee is just an entry into the course for some of the material? A screenshot you have in this review shows "VIP ONLY" material. Could that cost extra?
I just feel like a sucker when I pay for something that is promoted as complete to find out that there's another fee to access a portion of the content. It's kind of how I felt when I did the first PPC Classroom with Anik and Jeremy and went to the live event in Las Vegas to find out that every presenter was just selling a package of their own. They gave a presentation and a pitch for a thousand dollar plus package. I kind of felt taken after having spent over a thousand dollars on travel and room to get there. I was expecting more comprehensive and niche content. Not sales pitches. [The VIP ONLY material was the preview release for VIPs. The core course is very good. However, they do have upsells for more comprehensive training. I imagine the live event is going to be a selling event, so be prepared for pitches at the end if you do go. It won't be workshop based. Hi Allan,
I have personally seen what Anik Singhal had taught thru Affiliateclassroom, which was very good. I think Amit mehta is his student or friend. and if he has done this well, its great. Some people can't start because they keep wanting to know MORE and MORE , in fact everything... without actually DOING anything first. Starters need a little info, straight and upfront so to be clear in the mind. I think this course will go good with people who have done something or at least have a webhosting and own domains, in fact, i have given the basics for FREE on my website, for the very beginners, then immediately buy the above course and do wonders. Check the free PPT download and the freebies, in 30 minutes you will know the complete picture. Actual action is what is required to succeed. all the best jayant hudar http://www.jayanthudar.com |

Interesting review on ppc 2.0 ... seems like you've done your homework... does commission blue print stack up to ppc 2.0 program... or are they completely different.
[These programs are fairly similar in their purpose. However, I think PPC Classroom has a more rounded approach. Commission Blueprint is more about working with Clickbank only. PPC Classroom is more about working with affiliate marketing in general. Jay.] |

Wow, well said. Admit is a great teacher and even more so, a great person. No marketing tricks here, he gives you more than you pay for and if you can believe this, leave a lot of money still in your pocket! He could nickle and dime you to death; but doesn't. Thanks for the knowledge and insight Admit.

Using the power of Marketing Leverage Andrew reguarly affiliates to products in the clickbank marketplace and earns himself $40,000+ commissions, all in the space of a week. Leverage goes even further than that, recently Andrew took a resale rights product and turned it into a $25,000 pay day for himself!
