If you're doing affiliate marketing using only blogs or keyword-rich content sites, there's another technique you can use to add more income streams... mini-sites.
Mini-sites typically sell one product or promote one affiliate program in a niche market.
They often have a "squeeze page" to collect email addresses and use an autoresponder to give you multiple chances to make sales.
Everything that can be automated is automated.
If you want to learn how make profitable mini-sites, Michael Rasmussen's new free videos are an excellent place to start.
Just in case you haven't heard of Michael...
He owns more than 50 mini-sites (he didn't create them all himself) and he's so successful at selling ClickBank products and earning commissions on ClickBank products that he's received a testimonial from ClickBank's Operations Manager. Not many affiliates can boast they have one of those.
He's obviously a perfectionist. The videos are beautifully created. He's split the information into 5 to 10 minute chunks, so that it's easy to digest. Beside each video, he's put links to each section on the video.
This format also makes it really easy for you to quickly find a particular section, such as "Killer Sales Letter Anatomy" on video 4, "Why Automation is Important" on video 6, "One Time Offers" on video 7, or "Article Marketing" on video 12. You just go to that video and click on that link.
So if you're creating your first squeeze page or your first one-time offer, you can easily find the right section and play it a few times and take notes. Or if you're into more advanced techniques, such as adding backend products, that's covered, too.
The videos are aimed at people who already know how to build a website. If you don't know that, you'll either have to learn or outsource the work. (There's a video on outsourcing.)
Even if you don't need this information on mini-sites today, I reckon you should grab this chance now while it's available.
I'd like to be able to say, "Add these videos to your library," but you can't really. You need to subscribe and view them online.
Why has Michael done so much work to give away such high quality information?
He's aiming to make you an irresistible offer that's free followed by an irresistible one-time offer you pay for. That's smart marketing.
He's very experienced, highly successful, and a good teacher. You won't go wrong if you decide to get his products and get the bonuses that come with them.
