1. We're setting up a new office

Hey! We're celebrating.
This week marks another milestone for our business - we've just received the keys to our new office.
My first major milestone was quitting my job and going full-time in affiliate marketing in 1998. I hired my first part-time employee that year and first full-time employee in 1999. We now have employees and contractors in Australia, New Zealand and the United States. Until now, all members of our team have worked from home.
We've grown fast in the past few years and we plan to grow a lot more. We've reached the stage where we feel we need an office where a few core people will play a key role in the next stage of our growth.
Because we believe that life should be a balance of work and play, our new office is in a warm part of the world in a fantastic location, just across the street from a beautiful beach, at Burleigh Heads, Queensland, Australia. Good cafes, nice restaurants and shops are only a short walk away.
The office is a short drive from where Joanna and I live at Rainbow Bay. My business partner, Jay Stockwell, lives within easy walking distance of the office.

We're looking for two more full-time employees. These are new positions.
We're looking for people who can think for themselves but who like the idea of working with a small, friendly team to create fantastic results. We're looking for people who see the potential in helping us grow and growing as we grow.

3. Alok's Project Quick Cash

However, if you're tired of trying to build an online business and just want to generate some revenue fast, then this item is for you...
For the past six months, Alok Jain, who's been a full-time online marketer for more than four years, has been experimenting with several techniques for generating cash fast from affiliate programs and AdSense.
His new 77-page book, Project Quick Cash, will be popular with affiliates who are impatient with solid, long-term business building.
While the book provides step-by-step instructions, with screenshots, it's best suited for affiliates who already have some experience with at least SOME of the following: AdSense, affiliate programs, basic website building, AdWords, blogs, forums and social networking sites.
Alok describes five different techniques.
All five techniques go against the underlying marketing philosophy that I've developed over the 11 years I've been online - to build solid businesses that earn a good reputation, attract attention and create long-lasting revenue streams.
Alok is doing nothing at all shady, but all five techniques are all about doing stuff VERY fast and generating revenue fast - sometimes within minutes.
An experienced affiliate could do several of these projects in one day.
They all have the same goal - to create projects which don't require a lot of time, money or effort, and yet achieve decent returns. Some are zero cost, some require AdWords advertising.
One caution: If you're the sort of person who gives up too easily, this book may not be right for you. All five techniques involve work, and if you succeed with one quick project, next day or next week you'll have to create more quick projects. As the old revenue streams fade away, you'll need to keep creating a series of new revenue streams to replace the old ones.
Several of Alok's techniques look very promising. He says they work. I've no reason to doubt him.
I learned some tricks I didn't know. It's funny how stuff can be right under your eyes sometimes but you don't see it. When we've hired our new employees, I'll be keen to test several of these techniques.
