What gives super affiliates the edge you don't have

You must aim for more than one sale per customer

If you've been doing affiliate marketing here are some solid tips for turning your business into a long-term, serious money-maker.

Heck! If you're just starting out you can use these tactics right away. They'll put you on the path to greater profits much quicker.

Affiliate marketing gives you a chance to make money without most of the headaches of developing and marketing your own products. But your success depends entirely on your ability to focus and take action! If you want the big bucks… treat it seriously, learn, take action, and it will reward you.

Ok… let's go!

Do NOT limit your customer lifetime to only one sale! That's crazy. If you're not capturing names and emails… you're seriously limiting your earning potential. You need to start building a list so you can market back-end products to them and maximize your profits.

In order to do that you must set up your emails and autoresponders. You probably know it takes close to seven exposures to convert some people. You'll see some variations. But the important thing is to keep in contact with your list.

And don't just pitch to them. Provide valuable information to them so when you do make an offer they'll be much more receptive to you.

Tell people what to do

People really do need to be told what to do in many circumstances. So help them. The golden guideline is to make their experience with you as EASY as possible. Help them to relax and have a pleasant, enjoyable, informative experience.

You can set up your autoresponders for this.

Depending on your product, tell them what to do now, next, etc. Let them know what to expect from you in the near future. Help them to use your products in the most optimum way.

Customers do NOT like surprises. Unless it's a free gift, of course. So educate them about what to expect with your business.

Optimize your website, landing pages, sales letters, free lead generation ebooks… whatever, for the highest possible conversions. How? By testing! You must test everything in your marketing flow path. I guarantee you'll be very pleasantly surprised when you do this. And here's a secret…

Most marketers are too lazy to test! And the truth is, there are even large offline companies who don't test. They throw money at PPC advertising and hope something sticks. It's a waste.

Just doing that one thing will put you ahead of the rest. So do it.

If you use free ebooks for lead generation include methods to capture contact information. Constantly work on your list-building.

Free ebooks with valuable information are passed around a lot. So think of the person who's NOT on your list but who may read your free ebook. Have links to send new people to your website or to sign up for your newsletter.

Back-end marketing

Let's spend a moment on your back-end marketing.

One thing I see a lot is a lack of creativity and thinking when it comes to back-end products. I've even seen some very successful marketers back-ending inferior products. Sometimes I've wondered if the person even KNEW exactly what the product was.

And if you back-end poor, or unrelated, products to your list you'll start raising red flags. It will create a negative impression and help to destroy all the hard work that went into cultivating that list.

So choose your back-end products with great care. Buy them and check them out. Ask yourself if the product is something YOU would be happy with. That's the acid test for back-end products.

There are lots more ways to take your affiliate marketing to even higher levels. But starting with the above will definitely help your bottom line, today. So do them!
