1. How Jeremy Palmer earned $6.23 per click
===========================================
One of the best things about selling your own product is that you get to see inside the engine room. You learn which affiliates really know how to launch a successful promotion.
I was delighted when super affiliate Jeremy Palmer, who earns most of his revenue from PPC marketing, decided to review and promote our SpeedPPC.
Here's how Jeremy launched his promotion, which earned him thousands of dollars in commission at an average of $6.23 per click-through to SpeedPPC.com...
The first step in his campaign was to write a review for his newsletter. He also published it on his blog.
Here are the main factors in Jeremy's successful review...
1. He starts from a position of strength. He already has good credibility because he's published a very useful book on affiliate marketing and he provides his customers with a private forum where they can ask questions and share tips. That sounds a bit hard for most of us. Let's move on...
2. In his review, he uses a friendly writing style, but he doesn't overdo it. He's still fairly businesslike. He starts off by telling people that members of his private forum have been asking for opinions of SpeedPPC.
3. He gives a quick overview of the product. "Speed PPC is a productivity tool that can help you quickly roll out large groups of highly-targeted keywords, ad copy and landing pages for your pay per click campaigns."
3. He reminds readers of HIS expertise: "...my ability to find millions of laser-targeted keywords in hundreds of different niches..."
4. He doesn't make PPC marketing sound easy. He describes various obstacles he has faced and overcome while building his 7-figures a year business.
5. He describes how he has developed dozens of proprietary scripts, spreadsheets and processes that have helped him automate his PPC campaigns. "I've kept these tools to myself..."
6. He tells us some of the benefits of the product: "Speed PPC is the first commercially viable tool that automates some of the most time-consuming and difficult tasks required to launch profitable PPC campaigns. In short, it's a software application that helps you build massive keyword lists with highly-relevant ad copy and landing pages."
7. However, Jeremy is just getting started on describing benefits. Now he hammers home six main benefits of the product, one paragraph per benefit.
8. He makes each benefit, for example "Improve Your Google Quality Score" and "Advanced Tracking Tells You What's Working and What's Not", an affiliate link.
9. He makes yet another attempt to lure you to the site: "For more detailed benefits check out the Speed PPC website."
10. To make sure you can tell he's writing an honest review, he suggests a way in which the product could be improved. He'd like to see it as a web-based application. He explains why.
11. He gives a strong warning: "The Software is Not Intended for PPC Dummies - You don't have to be a seasoned PPC advertiser like me to realize the benefits of the software, but if you don't know the difference between an ad group and a campaign you won't get anything out of it."
12. He offers a powerful summary: "Overall I think the tool is a tremendous value that will save you a ton of time and make your PPC campaigns more profitable."
13. He reminds his readers that he doesn't flood them with promotions: "Those of you who have subscribed to my newsletter know that I don't make product recommendations lightly. In fact, this is probably the second or third product I've ever mentioned in this newsletter." In other words, this product is special.
14. Jeremy ends with a knockout punch. He tells his readers that he's negotiated a generous discount - for a limited time. In the last sentence of his review, he gives the link which his readers need to click to get the large discount.
You may not be able to use ALL the marketing techniques Jeremy uses here, but perhaps you can boost your commissions by using some of them next time you write a product review.

2. Quality Score report subtly promotes product
===============================================
Here's Jeremy Palmer's second step in his campaign to promote SpeedPPC.
Based on research and his own extensive experience, he wrote a 10-page PDF report called The Unofficial Guide to Google's Quality Score. It describes what you need to do to get a good Quality Score and reduce your AdWords costs.
It's an in-depth look at a fairly complex subject.
Because Jeremy is hoping this report will be picked up and mentioned around the Net, he includes very little promotion in it. He mentions SpeedPPC very briefly, near the end, in a section titled "Software Recommendation", where he says that SpeedPPC was designed with Quality Score in mind.
Here's his report...

4. Thought for today: Opening up doors
======================================
I've used this quotation before. It's one of my favorites...
"The fastest way for you to succeed is by piggy-backing on the good advice and counsel of men and women who have already spent years learning how to succeed. When you do this on a regular and systematic basis, you will open up doors of opportunity and possibilities for you that today you cannot even imagine." - Brian Tracy.
All the best
