Benefits of smarter affiliate links

I've been promoting various affiliate programs since 1997.

For years I was earning a trickle of very small commissions just by placing standard affiliate links and banners on my various sites and services.

Then by accident I discovered a way to massively improve my customer retention and affiliate conversions. Partly as a result of this discovery I now qualify as a "super affiliate" for one of the programs I promote.

Not only have my affiliate commissions gone through the roof, but because I now retain my visitors at my sites I have also increased my opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell. Meanwhile I am developing my own brand instead of simply referring my visitors away to affiliate merchants.

In this article I am going to explain via a true case study how I achieved these results after accidentally stumbling upon upon a great idea for smarter affiliate links. I will also explain how you can easily implement a similar solution to better promote your own affiliate links.
