1. Tapping into other people's traffic - Part 3
   ...Flipping a joint venture request
===============================================

Continuing the series on tapping into other people's traffic, which began in newsletter #306. You need to have your own product to use this tip.

Four months ago, David Gale tapped into someone else's traffic by flipping a joint venture request. He's still generating sales from the win-win arrangement.

David explains what he did...

"At my website www.easyaudiowizard.com I sell a very popular web audio software program and also have a free audio secrets course. One day I received a 'joint venture' offer from someone basically wanting me to email my list offering his product, through an affiliate link where I would earn commission etc. There was a free download link for his product that was for some pop-in software.

"I checked it out thought it was good and that my list would be interested. So, instead of deleting this as usual I emailed back, politely declining his offer, but also said that I would email my list with his offer if he would do the same for me. He agreed and emailed his list, and I wrote a quick product review of his offer for my list.

"I also suggested that he put a recommendation for my product on the download page for his customers on an ongoing basis, and that I would do the same for him. This would give exposure for a targeted product to people who still have their credit card in hand and are in buying mode.

"Now I don't have a big list but it's growing and I still get extra sales month after month. It works for both of us and has done so for the past four months. Hope people can see the value of making a win-win situation and how I get extra sales every month - all from someone trying to get me to email my list with their product - I just flipped it and made it beneficial for both of us."

Very nicely done!

2. Tapping into other people's traffic
   ...and earning half the commissions
======================================

Continuing the "Tapping into other people's traffic" theme...

Merav Yaakov is tapping into others' traffic using eBay's affiliate program.

"I create customized eBay ads and offer them to niche site owners. My eBay ads perfectly match the visitors and the page content. I fully control the format and content of the ad (using the eBay API). As eBay promotes anything under the sun, I am yet to find a niche that couldn't be served by my service.

"The win-win arrangement I offer is a 50% split of commissions between site owner and myself. Plus, as my network of site owners grows, all network members will benefit from eBay's rewards for increased performance. High tier commissions become available as we combine our efforts and traffic."

4. How Ebay products add additional revenue stream
==================================================

Do you want another revenue stream to a site? Here's how Kelvin Firminger did it.

He has a niche site which was generating useful revenue from AdSense. He was looking for a way to add an additional revenue stream.

After some research, he chose eBay but found that using its editor kit, although very profitable, was tedious and time consuming.

So he devised a much faster, more efficient way.

In this article, he describes how he did it...

"The secret of getting ahead is getting started. The secret of getting started is breaking your complex overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks, and then starting on the first one." - Mark Twain.
