8 ways to do keyword research for AdSense pages
1. If you have a Google AdWords account, pretend you are planning to advertise using different keywords, and see how much you'd have to pay. That will give you a good indication of the popularity of the keywords.
Here's how. Follow these steps. In step 2, "Create Ad Group", click on "Calculate Estimates" and "Recalculate Estimates". These show you the maximum you would have to pay per click to advertise for particular keywords or key phrases.
For finding new key phrases, you can use Go to Google's AdWords and find out how much advertisers are willing to pay for the keywords or key phrases you're interested in. Here's how.
Go to https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal and play around with the free Keyword Tool.
For example, try putting in a keyword or phrase, such as "book" and click on "Get More Keywords". Pretend you're willing to pay the maximum per click the tool allows - 100. (You can choose any currency. I chose US.)
Over on the right side of the page, make sure that "Cost and position estimates" is selected.
The tool will calculate for you the estimated average CPC (cost per click) for a whole lot of words and phrases. Try entering a different word, say "debt" or "free", click on "Re-calculate" and watch how the CPC changes.
You DON'T have to choose a topic which has expensive keywords. Often topics that have expensive keywords are very competitive. You may do better choosing a less competitive niche with cheaper keywords.
2. Keywords Analyzer is a superb tool which can generate thousands of key phrases that people are typing into search engines. If you have a Wordtracker account, you can also import data from Wordtracker and analyze it. It shows you, for example, how many advertisers have ad campaigns at AdWords for each phrase. If you're using AdSense, the more advertisers the better!
3. Have a look at the top 100 keywords on 7search. This will give you a quick idea of keywords that people are willing to pay big money for. You can also type phrases into the 7Search Keyword Suggestion Tool. This is just step one of your keyword research. You'll want to dig deeper.
4. At FindWhat pay-per-click search engine you can do a search for any phrase and quickly see how much advertisers are paying per click.
5. You can experiment typing words into Yahoo! Search Marketing's View Bids Tool. Let's say you type in "asbestos cancer". The top three advertisers often pay about $12 per click. So that might be an good choice for a topic - provided you're a specialist on mesothelioma AND provided that your research shows that it's an in-demand topic.
For "debt consolidation", the top two advertisers often pay more than $9 per click.
6. The free Web Marketing Keyword Bid Research Tool speeds up your research at Yahoo! Search Marketing. Type in a keyword and learn how much advertisers are paying per click and also find out how many searches were done on that keyword last month.
However, you need to know that Yahoo! combines singular and plural phrases, and robots are used to check bids. Both of these factors tend to distort the results you'll see. Checking Yahoo! Search Marketing is good for quick, rough research, nothing more.
7. You can use Wordtracker to look for the 1,000 most popular keywords. You can also use it to compile a useful list of keywords relating to one topic. If you buy it for a day or a week, you can do a lot of research in that time. It's the tool the professionals use.
Wordtracker has a free trial, but it's fairly limited. You can subscribe for as little as one day and do an awful lot of keyword research in that time. I have an annual account because I use it so frequently for keyword research.
8. The brainstorming and research tools in Site Build It! are my favorite way to do brainstorming for keywords that are in high demand and low supply. SBI is a superb tool - actually, a suite of tools. It's an all-in-one web hosting, site-building and web marketing tool. Type in a keyword and SBI Manager will present you with dozens of profitable keywords - ones with high demand and low supply. It can present them in order of profitability. Drill down, and you'll get dozens more profitable keywords.
SBI also has an "Analyze It" tool that helps you build keyword-rich pages that rank highly in search engines. It's simply superb. I use it and love it.
Site Build It! is an excellent choice for quickly building large, simple sites designed to rank highly in search engines - which makes it perfect for generating lots of AdSense revenue. Check it out.
QUICK SUMMARY: Build useful, simple sites - one topic per page - using valuable key phrases that are high in demand and low in supply. For researching, building and promoting easy-to-build sites that rank high in search engines, there's one suite of tools that's head and shoulders above all the rest - Site Build It!
Site Build It! builds sites that work for ANY small business. See the proof...

These numbers can not be true, because you can not count the visitors per page. You have to count the visitors per site ie unique visitors. Why? Because if someone clicks on an ad, he is gone form the site. So one may come to your site, visit 10 pages, and then (maybe) click. This means 10 ad views and only 1 click.
[Perhaps I'm missing something, but here's how I see it. The more pages a visitor visits, the more chance you have that the visitor will click on an AdSense ad. Therefore, it's useful to take page views into account. Which of the following sites is more likely to give you higher AdSense revenue: 2,000 visitors and 4,000 page views? 2,000 visitors and 12,000 page views? I don't claim to be a mathematician, but I'd put my money on the site getting 12,000 page views. Allan.] |

I agree with what Allan said about the more pages a visitor views, the more likely it is that they will click on an ad.
Also, people might not actually be gone from your site when they click a single AdSense ad. When I'm reading an article and I come across an interesting link (whether it's an ad or not), I'll open it in a new tab in my browser (if it's an AdSense ad, then the site's owners just got paid from this!), and continue reading the article I had started. Then when I'm done with the original article, one by one I'll go and visit all the tabs I opened and repeat the process on each of them. Or, I'll go visit the tab I just opened, and when I'm done I come back to the original article. And when I find another link that looks interesting, I'll go visit that one, and then come back. And so on. I don't think I'm the only one who browses the Web like this.... with the advent of tabbed browsers, people are just beginning to discover how to use them to the greatest advantage. One big advantage is using them in the above way in order to pre-load pages in the background. Another is in keeping track of interesting links while still being able to finish the article a person is reading. -Curtis |

"payment you receive per click depends on how much advertisers are paying per click" - NOT an accurate statement. According to Adsense reps, payout ALSO depends on conversion - i.e. whether the click coming from your site results in sales for the advertiser. Now, how Adsense tracks that, leaves me wondering. Regardless, personally I don't agree that we, as publishers, should be responsible for inefficient/inaccurate ads.

I have Google adsense on my website. The first day I made $1 and after that nothing. Sometimes the Google tool will tell me there was clicks but I'm not earning any money?
Nico http://www.sacarreviews.co.za [Sounds odd. You could contact AdSense and ask about it. This would be a good topic to discuss in the AdSense section of our affiliate forum. However, my approach to little oddities like this is to think, "That's odd," and immediately move on. Instead of worrying about this, your time would be better spent adding quality content to your site and getting high quality links to your site. Allan.] |

Ok here is the catch. I'm about 1.5 years in Adsense system. My first earnings ware around 5 - 10 $ /month. It was not bad, but after some months earnings didn't pass that $$ number. Even after spending tons of $$$ for all those "must-have" online marketing techniques. The numbers were bad. Then I found some great opportunity to join one group of publishers. And I made around 300 $ at my first member month with just 1 adsense site. I will not reveal my current earnings :) But it starts getting better & better. Income increase number is about 300% per month! With minimum investments. And here is the way. There are adsense groups that work very very organized in secret. First you have to join them. i read somewhere that there are 10 or 15 adsense groups that work in silence with over million members in each of them. The bacics is here - your adsense site is listed in group MAIN LIST. Lists are spreading around the world to group members. The maini rules are : members know exactly what and where to click on incoming sites! So do you! It takes maximum 30 minutes to complete all tasks. And job is done. Since clicks are from different IPs and different users Google would never understand what is really happenning. Want to know more about this stuff: [URL deleted.]
[What you're advocating is theft - stealing from advertisers who pay for the ads which appear on the AdSense network of sites. We don't help AdSense thieves here. Fortunately, the site you recommend has disappeared. Allan.] |

hello, I have a simple question. I am thinking is it possible to get adsense if you are not yet 18 years old of age? + Is there something hidden in the script/code (that adsense gives you I suppose,) that may contain things other than "click.. ads.. you get paid" (does it help the google engine in any way?)
[ Some companies don't want to have affiliates under a certain age. Google says you have to be at least 18 to join AdSense. Young affiliates aften get around this problem by partnering with a parent, older brother, or older friend, and doing everything in that person's name. Obviously, it needs to be someone you're sure you can trust. If you place AdSense ads on your site, that does not affect your website rankings. AdSense ad impressions and clicks on AdSense ads are part of the massive amount of data Google collects which helps make it a powerful, extremely well informed company. Allan.] |

You want to know the truth about Adsense? Click on the link below or paste it into your web browser. Google has done a brilliant job of marketing the program but the bottom line is Adsense is good for Google and its Adwords advertisers but is not so good for webmasters. Read my evaluation.
http://www.tden.com/TDEN_Google_Adsense_Info.html [I know from first-hand experience that your rather sad "truth about AdSense" is far from the truth. AdSense is definitely worth pursuing, and I believe the best way is to build a high quality, interesting, useful site, not a junk site trying to generate only $1 a day. I own a bunch of sites which do much better than that. If you aim low you're likely to achieve even less than your target. Allan.] |

Me and two other recent college grads started a site focused on "Life after college." Our purpose was to provide humorous content around this time of life to our friends. As the idea caught on, we have become a huge community. So to make a long story short, we knew nothing about advertising and had no intent of using advertising, but since we were generating so many hits, we decided to use adsense. It's been great. Although, it is kind of discouraging to see so many people visit your site and not click on the ads. Here is our site www.postgradlifestyle.com if you could give any tips.

I AM AMAZED THAT YOU HAVE CREATED AN ANTIQUE PIECE OF ADSENSE GUIDE THAT IS INTENDED TOWARDS THE BENEFIT OF THE FOLLOWERS OF YOUR WEBSITE. BUT, HERE YOU DID NOT MENTION WHAT SHOULD PEOPLE DO IF THEY GET THEIR ACCOUNT CANCELLED OR DISABLED DUE TO INVALID CLICK ACTIVITIES WHICH MIGHT HAVE NOT OCCURED DUE TO THE MISTAKE OF THE WEBSITES OWNER. IT WOULD BE OF GREAT IMPORTANCE IF YOU CREATE A SECTION FOR THE "DISABLED ADSENSE GROUP" AND LET THEM GET THEIR ACCOUNT BACK.
[If you write to AdSense pleading your case, I strongly suggest that you do NOT use all capital letters. Many people regard that as shouting. What you could also try is set up a new business entity with a new address, new partners, new everything, and apply again. Or you could form a business partnership with someone you trust who has an AdSense account. Allan.] |

First - your site is just amazing. Seriously amazing. I'm a former publicist from NYC and currently living in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for a few months while I launch several websites. Reading your articles, I've realized just how much my PR and Marketing experience have given me a leg up in the journey so I'm really thrilled. I just have one question - you said that advertisers (I am particularly concerned with higher paying advertisers) can opt out of advertising in specific countries. I'm here until December 2007 and plan to be back and forth afterwards. Google knows by my host ip address that I am Mexico - is this effecting my potential revenue? And if so, is there a way to change this, so they know I'm a US business?
[You're very fortunate to have such a useful background. You don't have to worry about where you live. I live part of the year in Australia and part in New Zealand. That doesn't affect my AdSense revenue in any way. It's where your website visitors live that is important. You could live in Bulgaria if you wanted to and create a website targeted at Americans and Americans visiting it would see ads aimed at them. We have an AdSense section on our affiliate forum. It's a good place to ask questions. Allan.] |

The portion of payment is very difficult to state in general. It depends on many factors such as ad rank, keywords, and so on, I think that's why google doesn't say. There has been a major modification in their terms. Publishers can now place other ads (including other textual ads) on their site, provided that the adsense ads can be easily determined that they are from google.
I'm not sure about this: I read somewhere that the "Ads by Google" link actually contain the publisher's refferal link of his/her adsense account, so there is no direct earnings, but there is indirect through refferals. The official adsense blog is a must read: http://adsense.blogspot.com I also recomend google help center, google groups (this is a forum of google), and the official google blog at: http://googleblog.blogspot.com ["I read somewhere" doesn't sound like useful evidence to me. I am not sure how does google calculate the payment for a particular click. can anyone tell me? my website is www.multiplyearnings.com
[Google says: "It's not possible to say how much you'll earn for a certain number of clicks or impressions, because your earnings will depend on the actual cost-per-click (CPC) or cost-per-thousand-impression (CPM) paid by advertisers for each ad that appears on your site. Some ads have higher CPCs or CPMs than others, so your earnings will vary depending on the specific ads displayed on your site and those your users choose to visit." That doesn't tell us a lot, so you have to look at how much advertisers are paying per click when they advertise on AdWords. How much they pay is affected by their Quality Score and by something Google calls "smart pricing". You'll earn an unannounced percentage of whatever the advertisers pay. Allan.] |

Hello Sir,
I am into google adsense since last 15 days.My website registered with adsense is www.geocities.com/ria_nagwekar/mydirectory.html. I also have a link in this which takes you to another website of mine i.e www.historyofindiancars.blogspot.com. I open both my websites around 3-4 times a day to check whether relevant ads are being displayed on my site. Is it ok? Also I am not getting any traffic on my website because I hardly get any clicks. I understand that I am in early stages of this programme. But, can you guide me in short, how I can get more traffic and earn decent revenue from my site. Besides, I also want to know how many sites we can link to our main site. [The questions are too complex to be answered here. I suggest you ask them, one at a time, on our affiliate forum. The link is at the top of the page. Allan.] |

Nice article! (and name :) We've created a site - www.mabuhayradio.com - that's got tons of original articles and other features (150MBs worth in the database so far!) and is geared towards helping out the community. We are new to Adsense and probably NOT optimized at all. However, as it stands, Adsense has made it possible for us to operate without having to worry about paying for hosting and other related (albeit small) expenses. Adsense rocks!

I love your article. I was taking the scatter gun approach before and not focusing on one site theme. My new website www.jollycam.com is based on sharing comedy videos. Google seems to love my site and 9 times out of ten i get relevant adverts. I have used some of the methods mentioned in this article, and have had some mild success. The first month i made $10 and using different techniques this month i bumped it to $30. Please keep in mind only very very minimal effort was made to achieve this. I look forward to my revenue growing monthly.

I received this email from Google. I have not understood its meaning.
"While going through our records recently, we found that your AdSense account has posed a significant risk to our AdWords advertisers. Since keeping your account in our publisher network may financially damage our advertisers in the future, we've decided to disable your account. Please understand that we consider this a necessary step to protect the interests of both our advertisers and our other AdSense publishers. We realize the inconvenience this may cause you, and we thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation." [Google believes you're doing something bad on your site. I have to say, that I clearly prefer Adsense over any other business model. Visitors come to your site, look around and eventually click on your Adsense ads. You don't have to deal with customers, paying a refund etc. etc. It's a great way to start your online business.

I made a new years resolution to expand beyond my single retail website experience, and to dive in 2008 into building many websites, accross a very large range of niches. I joined the Adsense Program, got a copy of Dreamweaver (was using frontpage), and started publishing. I published http://www.inet-classifieds.com/ a couple of weeks ago, Inet Classifieds is only one of MANY sites I created in the last month and a half, and I have great hopes, but only time will tell. The search engines have not spidered hardly any of what I have created so far. I tossed out the pages, to get the content out there for the engines to chew on, now I have to make them more appealing, and optimized.
Thanks, Great Blog by the way!! |

We launched a site to test Google Adsense in January of 2008. The toughest challenge we had was finding a topic that was interesting but would be relatively easy to compete for in the search engines. It's taken a couple months, but we are finally seeing some traffic from the "Long Tail" keywords. I love Google analytics. It has helped me identify areas that need improvement. For example, I've noticed that the page titled "Medieval times history timeline" gets great traffic but has a very high bounce rate (about 75%). The people finding the page through google are finding relevant information but the page needs to be broken up into many more individual pages for navigation purposes. Our site can be seen at http://www.medievaltimesfortresses.com.
Adding content on a consistent basis is what it takes to succeed with Google Adsense. Thanks for the opportunity to Blog, Allan. [Consistenty attracting good, relevant links to the site would help a lot, too. Allan.] |

[I'm not a lawyer so this isn't legal advice... I doubt if such tactics would be illegal. I wouldn't expect AdSense to ban you. However, pretending to be several different people is deliberately deceptive. If that doesn't bother you, consider this - your readers may see through your tactics, which wouldn't do your image any good. It's difficult to start a forum from scratch. It's much easier to tack a forum on to a popular site. This would be a good topic to discuss on our affiliate forum. You may receive some different opinions. Allan.] |

I believe there are a lot of factors which can boost adsense sales.
1. You need a large amount of unique users. 2. The blog should be specialized in one niche market. The users will be more interested in what you have to say, and will be more likely to click on your ads. 2. The proper placement of ads. Preferably on the right, but maybe under each blog post. 3. Consistent online marketing to grow your website traffic and user base. Try these and it will help, there are so many other factors so you need to research more.... |

Question,
We are in the process of giving away thousands of free video email accounts where the playback screens are very customizable for the user. We feel that we'll be able to give these away for free if they screens are ad supported with rich media ads embedded in them. our theory is that tens of thousands of users will create hundreds of thousands of messages all having embedded rich media ads served up in the play back screen, not as a pre roll to the video but within the playback skin. By the end of this year we expect to have over 400,000 users on the free platform. do you feel that adsense rich media ads are the way to go with our platform or is their another platform that pays better to sustain the expense. to see a sample of what our playback screens look like please follow the link provided here. http://198.63.32.96/ I welcome any and all comments and I thank you for your time. Hey! 99 Forum posts on the wall... 99 forum posts... you take one down, you pass it around...:)
O.K. sorry, couldn't resist! I just wanted to take the time to stop in and sing your praises Allan (no pun intended). You see, in the past month, I have put up 7 blogs and have digested 100's of ebooks, videos, audios, websites etc. Can you say 'out of control?' My subscription list was frightening! I mean, opening up my email boxes every morning made me think I should be looking for the closest AA group (Affiliates Anon, grins)! I've now been unsubscribing like crazy. 90+% of my subscriptions have turned out to be hyped up, blatant, 'so twenty minutes ago' sales pitches laced with dishonesty. (I know I'm singing to the choir.) :) However, I am happy to say that I have kept your subscription and bookmarked your site and treasure them both! I've done many of the 77 tips. I've optimized my pages and meta tags, submitted to directories, adding relevant content weekly, placed free classifieds, joined social networks, submitted articles, set up my signature. I've also engaged in traffic exchange sites daily. Relevant PR back links are what I need help in getting. My primary blog is http://healthandwealthvault.blogspot.com if you want to pay me a visit, I'd be honored and grateful! :) By the way, http://fathersdaytributes.blogspot.com -happy belated Father's Day to you Allan. This was a neat little tribute site I had put together for Father's Day to honor dads out there, including mine. I've since decided I'll continue adding to it and repackage it as 'A site JUST for dads, where everyday is Father's Day!' Maybe I'll add a little 'Tim the tool man' sound effects to it, grins. uhrr uhrr uhrr! O.k. gotta go...Thanks for all Allan! Amanda http://healthandwealthvault.blogspot.com [Thanks. I appreciate your comments. Your big challenge in getting links is that because you're using a free Blogspot blog, most of the sites you want to get links from won't take you seriously. 1) I have 1000 keywords separated by comma on my META-Keyword code in order to optimize the search. Will this violate Adsense rule of "EXCESSIVE keywords"? How does Google define 'excessive'?

Is it ok to include just their text link ( 2 lines only ) on my "Links.html" without violating Adsense rule of pornography and gambling? Great site, Allan. I can't wait to explore more. I came here investigating the AdSense program and, in just minutes, picked up several tips that make solid sense!
My question is: I'm building a site that is 90+% served from a database. Does AdSense work well from sites like that? The main content page filename (e.g., hotrods.asp) will always be the same, but the listings will always be different depending on what the user has elected to look at (e.g., hotrods.asp?showyear=1967, hotrods.asp?showyear=1968, etc.). Just wondering if AdSense is smart enough to serve content based on a generated page rather than a static HTML one? Thanks! -Jim [Google says "...the ability for us to serve ads on your site depends on a number of factors, such as our ability to crawl your site, the content of each of your webpages, and the availability of related Google ads..." AdSense is great, but lately I've been making more with Chitika. In fact, over the last year I compiled some statistics of my earnings and I actually earned twice as much with Chitika compared to AdSense. For those of you curious about Chitika, check out

It is important that you write about something you like. Especially if you are going to be maintaining a large blog.
I started a product review blog about two years ago... http://yousawitontv.blogspot.com I was approved for adsense but turned down by yahoo. As my site has grown, the amount of visitors has increased. I have also leveraged other affiliate programs such as Amazon. The best source of steady revenue has been from text link ads. So take your time and find something you care about. Then develop strong content. Once that’s done, then take a look at trying to generate some revenue from your site. |

This website is just superb. I have a qestion for Allan. I own a content based website and using Google Ads on it. My question is how to create good backlinks for my website. Due to low backlinks my pr is also low. Could you please state some methods or suggest any article which tells "How to create genuine backlinks (not the spam type)". Thank you.
[Start with my free report "77 Ways to Get Traffic", which is free to all subscribers of the Associate Programs Newsletter. You can also use the search facility at the top of this page. That should be enough to keep you busy for months! Allan.] |

Hello
Hope you and everyone is ok I have designed a website www.couponsamilliom.com and I am getting good results with google adsense. I also have joined some commision website for different ads to be displayed on my website. Google generates more since it doesn't need sales to be completed to pay you. Since I was using a template at first my earnings in google were not much But now, I changed the keywords by page ( In the title, description and file name) and Adsense is showing ads based on each page content increasing my revenue with some high paid clicks for example in the mortgage section. Good Article Best Regards. Christopher Touriz |

Hey Allan,
I'll be honest I have been interested in this for a while and just recently started researching online type businesses. It's been eye opening to say the least. I have been in dozens of sites and spent at least 10-12 hours this weekend alone sifting through info. I am a novice, but I would like to move forward to getting a site built and to start using adsense. I would like your opinion on google money. It seems like a fairly easy way to get started if the materials that they state are there are actually there, or is that a waiste of time? Great article and thank you for giving me a ton of info in an area that I don't know much about. [Advice on Google Money System from Google Support: "Proceed with caution", although what I think Google really means is, "Don't proceed." Details: http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/AdWords/thread?tid=4888ec9d4cdfec10&hl=en The owner of the website mentioned is using domain privacy to hide who earns the website. I see that as a red flag. Also, I do not recommend that marketing beginners start with a program that involves spending money on AdWords advertising. I recommend you start by learning how to get free traffic from search engines. There's more room for error and less risk. Click on the "Beginners" link at the top left of the page and look for my free Affiliate Program Tutorial. Allan.] |

Do you think adsense would work on a site selling a specific product? Which are Philips Sonicare products. I use adwords with a small daily budget only get about 20K impressions a week. The site is www.sonicaredirect.com if you have a chance please review and post your thoughts.
Thanks, Joe [I think it might work. The wonderful thing about AdSense is that it's free to join and very easy to use. So you could try a test for a week and see if your total revenue increases or declines. You'd probably be sending people to your direct competitors, so you'd need to think carefully about that. If your site has a low conversion rate, it's possible that you could generate higher revenue by sending people to your competitors. Allan.] |

I was thinking about the post I wrote and impressions are not the some as clicks, so I actually only have 10-20 visitor per day or 125 per week on my sight. Big difference from 20k a week. So the question still remains would it be worth it?
Thanks, Joe [A small test for a month might still be worth trying. However, it souunds as though your top priority should be generating more traffic. Allan.] |

Hi Allan, First Thank you very much for all the useful information, i would like to have your advice on this i am about to launch a social network website based on sharing mobile content (ringtones, wallpapers, games etc..) and all the content and services are free, i will be basically depending on generating profit from adsense and later from other direct sponsors, do you think that adsense could make some good profit out of it good for me means $500 a month minimum. I am good at building websites with cms and also have good optimization and seo skills.
your advice is highly appreciated Thanks, Mo [It sounds possible. However, before embarking on such a project, you need to do research to see what how many advertisers there are in those niches and see how much they're paying per click on AdWords. You can get a lot of useful free info by using the Google keyword tool - https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal I wouldn't create a business plan based entirely on revenue from AdSense. Look for related revenue streams, too. Collect email addresses. Allan.] |

Hi Allan
I have a question that I haven't found an answer to yet. Is it important what my website subject is to make adsense revenue or I should choose some special subjects for my website? Thanks a lot |

sallyevans (
Author/Admin) said this on 15 Sep 2009 8:45:19 PM EDTIdeally, you should create a site about a subject you know a lot about, and have a strong level of interest in. This means you'll have a much easier time creating a generous amount of content on that subject. The more content you have, the greater your earning potential. While Google does not disclose exactly how much you'll earn per ad that is clicked, advertisers generally pay more for popular terms because they are searched for more. You want to have a site topic that can generate a decent amount of traffic if you want to earn money with AdSense. These are all things you'll want to weigh up before deciding on your website's niche.

And
1. Is it important to choose website subject a low or average competition subject or there isn't any problem with high competition subjects? 2. In high competition subjects the problem is catching visitors or selling products or in both? 3. for example If my website is about refrigerators info and my adsense ads be about hockey, is there any chance to earn money on that or it should be the same subjects? Thanks And 1.Is it important to choose website subject a low or average competition subject or there isn't any problem with high competition subjects? 2.In hight competition subjects the problem is catching visitors or selling products or in both? 3.for example If my website is about refrigerators info and my adsense ads be about hockey,is there any chance to ern money on that or it should be the same subjects? Thanks [1. In high competition niches, such as web hosting or debt consolidation, a large number of advertisers are bidding for the keywords. This forces keyword prices higher, so AdSense publishers in those niches earn more per click. However, because these topics are intensely competitive, it's much more difficult to rank well in search engines. That's the major challenge with very competitive niches. If you can't get traffic to your site, you won't earn anything and you won't sell anything. 2. Both. 3. AdSense involves what is caused contextual advertising. You don't choose the ads that are displayed on your site, Google does. If your site is about refrigerators, your ads are likely to be about refrigerators. Allan.] |

Youu need lots of views to get a lot of click throughs one good way I like to increase my pages popularity is by writing short intro articles on subjects that pertain to my posts on sites like earnwrite.com (http://www.earnwrite.com). I put links in the articles which point to my blog posts. This increases my site's visibility – also sites like earnwrite.com display adsense ads and give you additional revenue as well. – A great way to increase revenue and reach.
